Hailing all DOA Members,
In the next week or so, check your mailbox for your 2008 Dickerson Owners Association membership certificate. (I know it’s 2009 already, but your 2008 membership is good through the first half of this year.)
Now you won’t have to wonder if your check really made it or someone used it to order another “Bacardi in the Bahamas”.
I have absolutely NO artistic talent, but I think the certificates came out OK. I no doubt made some errors as I rushed to complete them before leaving for Florida and some great golf–if I messed yours up, email me and I’ll send you a corrected version.
No complaints about the boat used for the background, please. If you win the race in June, we’ll put your boat there next year.
So look for an envelope coming from Irish Mist.
Glad you received Certificate OK We did not get any returns so looks like all 51 Members received one. We did get some appreciative notes on Barry’s artistic design. If you win this year your design will appear.

Last year (2008) it took us until the end of February (2009) to get the membership certificates out to you. We’re all about constant improvement. Our distinguished “Irish Mist” skipper (and Western Shore Sheriff) has everything (2009 Certificates and Directories) in the mail and it’s not yet Thanksgiving. And guess what? In honor of the magnificent race victory of Commodore Bill Toth aboard “Starry Night”, your certificates once again feature the ever-sleek D37 sloop.
If you are still without (and you’ve paid your dues) drop Joe an email. (“Foxfire” and “Compass Rose” — I mailed your certificates yesterday.)

Membership Certificates and the Dickerson Owners Directory are available only to Members of the Dickerson Owners Association. The Annual dues is only $35.00 for those that own Dickersons and $25 for Associate Members of past owners and interested parties. A Membership Form can be downloaded from the Home Page under the Heading What this Site Contains. You may also want to click on Newsletters on the Home Page and read our November Issue.
We would love to have you as a Member and add you to our list of Members from some 16 States and Canada.
