Honda EU2000

We use a Honda EU2000 to run anything thats 110v from AC, ele. skillet, coffee pot….list goes on. When I run a pigtail from the Gen. to the shore power plug i get a reverse polarity warning. Anyone have this problem or any suggestions??

It might be as simple as reversing the wires (the polarity) on the pigtail plug. Be careful!

The hot and neutral are reversed on the input. If it does not do it when hooked to shorepower, it must be your pigtail.
