If anyone can get downtown Portsmouth, we will be tied up in the basin at the end of High Street. The art festival is going on and good things to eat and drink.

my crew (and room mate and wife of 4 decades) can wait no longer. Tomorrow is the day. We will be kicking off our 2010 sailing season. (Barring all kinds of things that could get in our way). Meet you on channel 16.Barry,
Good luck on your initial sail of the 2010 season. One problem with your post though. Judy isn’t old enough to have been married for 4 decades. Rendezvouus time is getting close. We have to be Winston Salem on June 12th for a Grandson’s graduation from High School so we are going to be pushing it to get under way when I want to. Let us hear about your first sail.Bob S.

You’ve made my crew blush (and she thanks you). We had a great first sail of the season. Winds down here rose and fell–5 knots to 23. All systems came up on speed–“Crew Rest” was like a Preakness Pony. Planning for the trip to the Rendezvous is just beginning, but hope that “Snoodle Time” can leave with us on the 15th and that would put us in your neighborhood for a departure on the 16th heading north.
question about being in our neighborhood in time for a departure north on the 16th. Would our neighborhood be the Piankatank at Deltaville or Mill Creek at Reedville? Will make a big difference on the destination on the 16th. Trying to do some last minute touch ups on the teak and get in some sailing practice at the same time. The days without rain have been great but for everyone of those we have been getting two with rain. I guess that’s spring. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
