Good evening! The Laura Isabel needs a new sanitation line and there are several available. The line is about five feet long running from the toilet to the Y valve. Does the collective wisdom have any advise? Thank you.

I consulted “standby-expert” Nigel Calder and he advises that the two issues are permeability (read odor) and flexibility (read install-ability). The choices are PVC and rubber. In either case, hose must have smooth inner walls and specially formulated for sanitation. “Crew Rest” has Shields 101 and no odor issues.
