D37 Holding Tank

Has anyone upgraded this small tank on their boats? I look at this as a major issue if I want to cruise south to either Florida or the Bahamas. A 6 gallon tank fills up fast. Thought of a unit that treats waste and dumps it overboard, but that is not legal everywhere.

Just looking for ideas.

Hi Steve,

We installed a 25 gal bag under the seat next to the head. It works fine. I want to cut out the old tank next winter and hope to be able to put a thru hull under it for the sink?

Yes, directly across from the mast and abutting the head.
