Today we moved aboard for the Season. We will spend at least 4 days a week aboard until sometime in November. Sarah cleaned the interior and wiped all the surfaces down with white vinegar and water. Tomorrow I will wash down the exterior and get rid of the massive layer of Pollen. I dewinterized last week and plan to go for sail within the next day or two. Probably will go to the yard next week to haul for bottom painting and topside waxing. Then it is full concentration on sailing.
Hope to see some other Dickersons out there.

We hope to get up to the Deltaville area this year for a weekend trip. It is not much further than Mobjack Bay and we seem to get there a few times each year. Maybe I can bug Barry into making a trip too.

Let’s count on it! Judy and I owe it to Bob and Sarah

wonderful folks. And I bet we can coax Nancy C. into joining us for some “Dickerson Time” on the Piankatank. But she’s already warned me watch for belaying pins to the noggin and piracy.

And of course, I’m assuming we will do a flotilla join on the way to Oxford.

It would be great to have all of you come to the Piankatank for a visit. We will be making a quick trip to the boatyard within the next week and then everything will be finished. We have a great anchorage on our creek and clean restrooms are available Let me know when you can come.

Snoodle Time is back in the water and straining at the lines to get underway. She says she is fast, sleek and is not afraid to show some ass. Watch out for those who dare tred the same waters.

We took our first sail of the season today. Winds were 10 to 15 and the sailing was great. Glad you are back in the water and ready to goi. Still have to do a quick haul in the near future to take care of the bottom.
