    Hello Native Floridian,

I also have a 36 dickerson a 74 though, and also live in Florida. Melbourne to be exact. What part of the state are you in? I think we have a similar boat that is laid out differently. If you would like to get it touch with me my email is shane9973@yahoo.com. if you are near by maybe we could meet on the ICW.

I used interlux micron 66, 3 coats, with no additives. Its been 1 year 9 months, Had a few barnacles on the bow at the waterline(5-6). Other than that the rest of the hull is fine. It seems to build up fast in this area due to being in the ICW 20+ miles north or south of any inlet. We dont get alot of water movement around here.

Passport, boat registration, I think its still $150.00 35 ft and under and $300.00 above 35 ft but under 60( i think). I know it costs me 300 and im 36 ft. Other than that just some patience to deal with the customs people.

    Hi Dana,

I also have a 36 cc with a paragon gear. In 2006 I ran over some construction plastic in the ICW and completely destroyed the transmission. Anyhow I completely rebuilt the transmission sitting in my cockpit using “Inboard Engine, Transmission & Drive Service Manual 3rd Edition by Clymer” . It had part numbers for every part in that transmission. This was my first time messing with a transmission and it couldn’t have gone smoother, 6-8 hrs and it was reinstalled. The book also has manuals for many different engines and transmissions. I hope this can be of some help to all.

Barry, yes Nauti Legal was documented under the name Soul Food when I bought her. The name “Wave Dancer ” is news to me. Thanks for the info. What other info would you like me to send to you to go along with the picture?

I spoke with a friend of mine who builds 100 mph+ offshore race boats and he agrees with Rshel34 that FRP is solid fiberglass panels or laminated fiberglass.

I dont think that there is any wood in the hull as ive drilled throught it before and never saw wood shavings. Like Rshel34 it does have a glass over wood deck
