The holes are 4″ in diameter so I figured I would not have enough material to cover the existing hole with the new instrument and prevent leaks. I’d have to build up something as an interface and seal both sides.

That is what I might wind up doing.

Hi Barry. No, have not done any winter work either. I bought gasket material for my portlights and got one installed today. It was a bit of a chore, but I think it turned out alright.

Jo is very good at C&C, but she is very expensive. Now is the time of year though as her work slows down. I don’t like that guy in the salt ponds area. Can’t remember his name though, but he does not use zippers and I don’t like the looks like that.

Making up a maintenance list for winter projects though. Lots to do and so little time.

Thanks Joe, I will have a look there. I did join last year, but it took almost a year to get my check cashed and now I really don’t know when my membership runs through. Never received much of anything and of course the internet site is very quiet. Thanks again…
